I listened to the opening track Ext- Steady Wheel Clicks And Chugging, On Board and liked it a lot. Ext- Steady Wheel Clicks, On Board 1 is probably one of 20th Century Fox Sound Effects’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Vocals of 20th Century Fox Sound Effects in Ext- Steady Wheel Clicks, On Board 2 really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Ext- Pass By On Grade, Fast Speed, Rail Clicks - I like this one. Musically Train, Steam, Approach From Distance And Run By Platform, Whistle, Bell is superior to other tracks in Steam Trains, Trolleys, etc. Train, Steam, Pass By In Distance is a medium tempo tune. Train, Steam, Switch Engine Pass By, Train Bell, Crossing - For me, this is the best of the album. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Train, Steam, Pass By Fast, Close Up is outstanding work of 20th Century Fox Sound Effects. Train, Steam, Train Approaching Fast - This one is lively and fun. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Train, Steam, Pass By Fast Into Station, Stop, Whistle, Bell because the melody in the chorus is so good. Train, Steam, Pull Into Station And Stop, Bell is astounding. This is one hell of a track. Train, Steam, Chug Up From Distance, Stop, Brake Squeaks - A classic 20th Century Fox Sound Effects track. Train, Steam, Cab Interior, Train Running Steady is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything 20th Century Fox Sound Effects released so far. Train, Steam, Cab Interior, Running Steady, Stop, Brake Squeaks one is one of the better boring ones. Nice and different song. Train, Steam, 1900 Steam Train Interior, Start, Run, Stop 2 is the song that really did it for me. Train, Steam, 1900 Steam Train Interior, Start, Run, Stop 3 is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. When listening to Train, Steam, Steam Train Whistle, Long Blast Close Up, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Train, Steam, Steam Train Whistle, Several Blasts Close Up - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of 20th Century Fox Sound Effects. Next song Train, Steam, English Steam Locomotive Whistle Short Blast- Short Toot is actually a funny song. Train, Steam, English Steam Locomotive Whistle Long Toot is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Once Train, Toy, Electric Toy Train, Start, Run Around , Stop gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. First time I heard Train, Toy, Electric Toy Train, Start, Run Around , Derail was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.When I listen to Trolley, Less Trolley- Pull Out From Station 1 in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Trolley, Less Trolley- Pull Out From Station 2 - I just love it. Trolley, Less Trolley- Pull Up, Slow Down, Pass By, Accelerate Away 1 is probably the most interesting track on Steam Trains, Trolleys, etc. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Trolley, Less Trolley- Pull Into Station, Stop 1 is the funkiest number on the album. Trolley, Less Trolley- Pull Into Station, Stop 2 is a strong cut, one of many. Best song on the album, love it. Trolley, Less Trolley- Interior- Several Starts And Stops is really the reason why I recommend buying Steam Trains, Trolleys, etc. Truck, Military, Interior, Try To Start Several Times, Start, Short Idle, Shut Off is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Truck, Military, Army Truck Interior, Start, Idle, Shut Off - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Truck, Military, Army Truck Interior, Start, Drive Off, Shut Off is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. In Truck, Military, Army Truck Interior- Start, Drive, Grinding Gears it becomes nowhere more obvious that 20th Century Fox Sound Effects has yet to define own style. Truck, Military, Army Truck Exterior, Approach And Pass By still maintains something of a specific flourish. Tube, Air, Send Message Cylinder In Air Tube make listening to 20th Century Fox Sound Effects like being in some sort of time warp. Tube, Air, Open Message Cylinder And Pull Out Message is the albums biggest surprise. The sound of Underwater, Deep Sea Diver Underwater, Breathing, Movement is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Underwater, Deep Sea Diver Underwater, Air Pump Running, Movement is one of these floating songs. Wagon, Wooden Wagon Rattles And Creaks is a bit of a show-tune. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Western, Street, Old Alaskan Street, Horse, Wagons, Footsteps, Voices marked the continuation of 20th Century Fox Sound Effects in style evolution. Although Western, Street, Old Western Town, Horses, Wagons, People, Busy is very melodic it is far from sad. Western, Street, Old Western Town, Horses, Wagons, People, Light (0:49) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I like the agression and power of Western, Street, Old Western Town, Light Movement And Activity. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Whistle, Police, English- Single Blow, Close Up- Three Blows Close Up defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Blew our minds when we first heard Whistle, Police, English Police Whistle, Single Blow, Distant- Two Blows Distant. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
